Each year, KCBC recognizes and celebrates individuals and organizations dedicated to making our community cleaner, greener, and more beautiful!

Beautification award

The Beautification Award honors individuals, businesses, schools, and organizations whose ongoing efforts enhance and preserve the natural beauty of our environment.

Urban Forestry Award

The Urban Forestry Award honors individuals, businesses, schools, and organizations that promote a tree conscious community and shows how preserving our resources enhance the quality of life.

Litter Prevention/Cleanup Award

Litter Prevention Award honors individuals, businesses, schools, and organizations that give emphasis to promoting good stewardship by reducing or preventing litter blight within our community.

KCBC Support Award

The KCBC Support Award honors the KCBC Commissioner that has shown ongoing dedication and commitment to promoting, planning, and implementing programs for Keep Columbus Beautiful Commission.

The Beautification Award honors individuals, businesses, schools, and organizations whose ongoing efforts enhance and preserve the natural beauty of our environment.

Community Improvement Award

The Community Improvement Award honors individuals, businesses, schools, and organizations who have improved a neighborhood’s cleanliness and aesthetics through litter prevention, waste minimization and beautification projects that place emphasis on environmental stewardship.

Iron Eyes Cody AwardIn recognition of Mr. Lonnie Jackson

This annual award honors an outstanding male leader for exceptional efforts in litter prevention, community beautification, and environmental stewardship. It commemorates Mr. Lonnie Jackson’s remarkable contributions to the Tri-Community.

Governmental Support Award

The Governmental Support Award honors an individual who is directly employed by the Consolidated Government and who excels beyond the call of duty and has demonstrated strong dedication in raising awareness of solid waste, litter prevention, and other environmental issues.

The Edna Kendrick Award

The Edna Kendrick Award honors individuals or organizations who have made significant contributions toward improving our community’s physical image. They must have accomplished this goal by encouraging and fostering a cooperative spirit within the community and creating successful partnerships to improve our community.
